Boozebud Not Answering Messages Sending Me Stuff I Dont Want to Pay for

Hi

I placed a $100 order for beer on booze bud thinking it would arrive on time but turns out it wont.

1 day after placing order I contacted boozebud via the only option they provide, online chat which isnt manned by anyone and simply sends an email to them.

I sent 5 messages over the space of 5 days asking to cancel order.

Today they sent me auto message saying order has been despatched.

Now, considering no one from store is replying to me, or bothering to read their messages, I am wondering what I do now to cancel this order which is now in transit?

Should I refuse delivery by auspost and tell them to return to sender, will I be charged by boozebud?

    Refuse delivery, and do a charge back on your credit card.

    • This sounds the best, perhaps contact card provider ASAP (as it's Friday) and get advice as you should have proof of attempts to contact vendor well before the "it's on its way" email……only good if there is no vendor site advice that says "ONCE sold it cannot be reversed".

    • I don't think the bank will let you do that for a late delivery.

      Just keep it and drink it, beer has a longish shelf life.

  • After you paid, they don't actually have to refund you for change of mind. Unless it specifically said guaranteed delivery by **** and was not delivered.

  • Why bother order items online then ask the shop for a change of mind refund?

    Boozebud just sent message saying I can return after filling out some forms.

    All good now.
