The 5W would have a hard time selling as the 10W only costs $1.25 more!

    • +1

Pixel 3 only charges at 5W. It probably doesn't work with the 10W model.

  • +2

Bought this the last time it was on sale it's actually really great. Works perfectly as a beside charger/stand for my iPhone XR

  • +1

Well done OP. That's a lot of work.

    • +3

I mean, the one you linked has terrible photoshop skills

Seriously though, the RavPower ones are legitimately Qi certified, but I can't find Natarura branded products from the Qi database

      • -1

Hmm, just judging by reviews I’m not so sure of quality of this or indeed the natarura. I’m not saying either is any better, just asking. I have noticed many qi charger deals on ob but there are many cheaper and I wondering how we know this one is worth the extra coin.

        • +6

I’m not saying either is any better, just asking.

Negging a deal is much more than just asking.

        • +3

          So you negged why exactly?

          • -4

@Minotaur: Mainly because I’m somewhat skeptical of the value of this and many of these qi deals seem more like an advertisement.

            • +3

@Captain Hindsight: Yes but based on what though? By comparing its value to that of another product you know nothing about?

              • -1

@Minotaur: On what did you base your up vote?

                • +2

@Captain Hindsight: On the price of this one compared to what I paid for one earlier this year

                • +1

@Captain Hindsight: Previously purchasing and having a great experience so far. Bought another one from this post….

                • +1

@Captain Hindsight: 3 in Electronics (See top 100)

1 in Electronics > Accessories > Mobile Phone Accessories > Chargers

    • +1

The RAVPower RP-PC068 is clearly not unbranded and discount code KMER3ILA reduces the price from $29.99 to $22.49. Have you found it cheaper?

    • +2

As I already have enough unbranded Qi chargers that work reasonably well, I won't be getting one of these. Given my recent experience with other RAVPower products (powerbanks, cables, chargers), if I were to buy one today, I would purchase these instead of unbranded ones in a heartbeat. RAVPower's other products are built well and worth the premium paid over some other branded or unbranded ones.

    • +2

I bought a cheap $10 one and I’m back here again buying another decent one because the USB input failed of the cheap one… buying right the first time would have been a lot cheaper -_-

  • Cheers OP. I find myself buying at least one product/s from these brands per posts by you. Just bought an RP-PC068.

  • +1

My stand lasted 7 days. It refused to keep my phone charged at 100%. Had no choice but to return it.

    • +2

I am sorry that you had an issue, if you need any further help please let me know and I will speak to the SunValley Rep for you.

      • +3

I appreciate it but it's been returned and fully refunded. Cheers!

  • +1

I can vouch for the quality of the RAVPower Wireless Chargers. Bought 3 from Amazon US about a year ago (as they weren’t available in Oz yet) and they have been flawless.

They’re definitely better than some other super cheap ones I also bought. The company also stands behind their products with very long warranties.

  • +2

I purchased two of the stands in the last deal. Have found them to be excellent for charging the iPhone XS MAX and the Samsung S9+.

    • may i ask which one you got for xs max charging?

      • +2

He said the 'stand'so I'm guessing it's the RAVPower RP-PC068 Dual Coil Wireless Qi 10W Charging Stand.

  • Too bad I bought Pixel 3 and, by description, it doesn't go with these.

    • Me too, does this not work with Pixel 3 at all or work but with slower charging (5W)? OP can you comment?

      • I believe that it will charge at 5W, but Google won't allow it to charge any faster.

  • has anyone been able to get fast charging to show up on their screen when using one of these?
I bought one and it charges normally but on a Samsung fast charger it says "Fast charging"

    • +1

Make sure it's connected to a QC3.0 USB port, if it's only on a standard port it will only slow charge. A good guide is that if you connect to the same port directly and it fast cable charges, then it should fast wireless charge too

      • I used the same fast charging plug that came with the phone. Should I buy another charging plug?

        • I don't think the Samsung "Fast Charging" adapter is compatible with the QC standard. I saw a wireless charging pad on Amazon (possibly from an earlier OzB deal - sorry, I can't be bothered searching) that said the charger that came with the S9 and S9+ was not compatible. A bit of Googling seemed to confirm this. It uses a different fast charging standard. I ending up buying the one from this deal.

  • Are there any chargers for an iPhone and Apple Watch?

    • If your phone can wirelessly charge then these chargers will charge them.

    • I'm looking for one that can do both at the same time also, I know the one charger can do but doing both at the same time would be nice!

  • +1

Most phones are pretty fussy about being exactly on the right spot, what happens if when you put it in the stand the phone is not on the right spot.

    • +5

Then you have to nudge your phone a bit.

    • The phone should tell you whether it is charging. I think some chargers have an indicator light that will say if the phone is charging, although the ones in this deal don't seem to have that feature.

  • +1

What is the best adapter to use with these fast charge wireless chargers to charge iPhones?

    • +1

The one that came with your phone would be recommended.

  • So the only difference between the Stand and the Pad is that the Stand is a… stand? Hardware wise are they the same?

    • +1

The Stand has 2 Coils I think to support landscape and portrait charging

    • The stand has dual coils, so you can charge in either portrait or landscape.

Its configuration also allows for better venting and temperature control.

      • +1

Well the orientation wouldn't matter on a pad lol. I guess if people are willing to pay $8.50 for the stand feature.

        • Easy to see if you get notifications on a stand.

  • Thanks OP, bought a stand and a pad together. A deal on the car charger would be great next time :)

    • Agreed. I’d love a deal on the RP-SH013 please OP :)

  • -1

i only consider > 12w is 'fast charging' (5v 2.4A) 10W is not fast charging (maybe it is for the wireless world). My advise is if you are using any flagship android phone, get a 15w wireless charging pad (you'll need a pd or qc3 adaptor first), then you'll get a decent wireless fast charging.

    • Only if your device supports 15W wireless charging. Apparently the S9+ doesn't.

      • -1

s9 series should support 15w, same as many others like LG flagships and huawei..etc

        • +1

Actually there are only 3 brands that have flagship phones supporting 15W: (Full List here)

          • Huawei Mate 20 Pro
          • Huawei Mate 20 RS
          • LG G7, G7+, V30, V35, V40
          • Razer Phone 2
          • @Mostly Melbourne: oh, hope it comes to other brands next year.thx for sharing tho. No wonder why 15w wireless charging pads are so hard to find.

  • Just so you know guys, the stand looks really cool although it attracts finger and phone prints. Every time you lift your phone off it, you will find the stand full of oily marks. I would be happy to have my faulty stand exchanged rather than refunded only if the material used was different.

Damn just expired.. can you extend it for just a few more days?
