Gator Dashcam and Reverse Cam - Buy or Don't Buy

Hi people,
I'm looking to get a dashcam and reverse cam.
I saw this one from Autobarn for around $120 in the catalogue.

Is this a good item?
Is there something better or well known in a similar price range?

I've used this on one on my other cars that doesn't have a built-in reverse camera. Camera quality is excellent. No stutter or delays. Built-in screen is amazingly bright and surprisingly clear. Lots of language support, easy to install and lots of functionality. You can do split screen, full screen or picture in picture. Only downside is the reverse camera. Quality isn't grate so I suggest buying one externally with the same connection and using that instead.

No. Best to avoid dash cams that doesn't use supercapacitors.

  Street Guardian and Blackvue are well known quality brands that have great support and a large userbase.

Gator/navig8r are made by Laser and are rubbish. I had their mid spec model from 2015 ($79 down to $39 at hardlys). It went back once for replacement and once again for refund, utter garbage. Spend the money on known names in the industry.
