Hello folks, seeing that b8 can be purchased sub $2000 right now and c8 is $500 ish more, is the c8 worth the price tag for the difference in processor? All review sites have been mentioning the image quality is quite similar. If c8 is worth the more price tag, is $2.5k the best recent price for it?

from a normal consumer pov, if you're not fussy with super speed and 'better accuracy' of colour by paper. B8 is really value for money, you can get a decent soundbar to pair with it. C8 is ofcourse slightly better, great for people who doesn't want top of the line model but still opt for 'better performances', still great for value.
I just recently check from TGG, comparing both, you won't be able to notice any differences. Maybe the sound, if you're sensitive, or the ugly stand from C8 if you're sensitive to the design. Otherwise, B8 is not bad at all! Save the money and get a great sound system!
i doubt there are ozbargainers with both TVs who can make the decision for you.
go with the best looking review site, or your budget. you're only going to buy a new TV in 3-4 years again anyway.
