I’ve been watching this for awhile and $255.00 seems to be a pretty std price, Computer Alliance just dropped their price by $16.00 down to $239.00. Combined with the eBay 10% Boxing Day sale for items over $120.00 makes this in my opinion a pretty good deal at $215.10.

  Planning on getting the DS218+ as I need a Windows VM to manage torrents so I can get a Shield to replace my NUC.

      Not yet. The heavily negged Tech Mall deal actually had a decent DS218+ price, compared to best price on staticice.
      The fact that the 4 bay version got low $500s made me reconsider if 2 bay is enough for me!

        Agree it just hit 597 this morning. For an extra $100 I’ll be getting that if it gets that low again! Missed it this morning.

        Do you know if you can just setup that with 2x drives initially?
