Merry Christmas everyone, was looking for this phone holder and found it is on sale currently. Thought about posting this as it is very popular among the ozbargain community.

Make sure to choose the "Updated Edition" - Last 2 colours and not the Basic version. Both Green and Grey available at time of posting.

    Better vent holder in two. Tight, strong and does not leave marks on the car vents.

  Fell for the hype on one of these a while back, it didn't last long. It fell out a few times whilst driving, eventually the clamp at the back broke or something. Replaced it with a Kmart magnetic one, INFINITELY better to have a magnet instead of arms holding the phone. The rubbers eventually wore out on that one and replaced it with a Taotronics one from Amazon the other day. It feels a lot more sturdy and despite costing $15 I'd choose that one again over this any day.

      I grabbed the TT-SH023 from this deal which sticks onto the car and frees up the vent again, it feels very sturdy. The magnets are strong even through my relatively thick phone case, stronger than the magnet I had attached still from the Kmart holder.

        When you have your phone mounted to the vent, you can keep it cool with the air conditioning. Heat is a killer to phone batteries.

  I don't know if anyone else has the same issue, but my one warped (the clamp loosened outwards instead of staying straight) after about 2 weeks of use. It looks like maybe I got a dud one?
