Wondering if anyone has had success in buying form Walmart in the USA - I had my eye on an item today that I was going to use my US freight forwarder (MyUS) for but wasn't able to complete the purchase as it's knocking back my Aussie Credit Card.
I jumped on to Live Chat and the customer service rep said that you can only buy with a US credit card or gift card.
Anyone had any luck and know a workaround?

You can pay for people to shop for you. They buy the item and ship it.
Often shipping forwarders will do it.
Maybe a service like Airtasker might get it done cheaper.
Never used a service like this but there's a number of them.

Thanks, yeah added cost to that negates the saving in buying in the 1st place - there's other options like B&H and Amazon but Walmart was the cheapest - didn't think it would be so hard
Use the MYUS personal shopper service,
I’ve used it for Macy’s Ralph Lauren etc it is handy to use on Black Friday sales.
You’d think in this era American online shopping would be simple, but it’s not. I think it’s a combination of fraud prevention, and suppliers only giving the retail licences for one area.
Thanks but also a pretty expensive option negating the savings - it's actually just a Mi Box S that they have on sale https://www.walmart.com/ip/Xiaomi-Mi-Box-S-4K-HDR-Android-TV… & I've also got some stuff from Amazon being sent to MYUS so I just wanted to consolidate it - I just tried to open a Gyft account to buy gift cards with a VPN but even that knew I was purchasing from outside of the US…
Lastly tried Cardflip but that bugged out on the adding CC page

I got a US card but also not able to buy on Walmart website due to the freight forwarding address. You need to have a US card AND the US address (not a freight address)
Perhaps if you can find a reputable gift card seller on eBay?
The American card thing is that there was a period where fraudsters would use Walmart to test credit cards. Don't know why, was just what I saw a lot of working in a CC Fraud department.
