Commonwealth Bank Special Term Deposit - 1 day only 2/05/08

I got an insider info and this is official that Commonwealth Bank are going to release a special term deposit at a special rate (they promised it's gonna be bigger than the current average interest rate) although I'm not sure how good will the interest rate be.

Minimum of $5000 deposit and this special offer will only last for a day (Fri, 2 May 2008). They will announce the interest rate and the length of deposit on the day of the offer.

We can always call up Friday morning to find out more before going straight to the bank.

    hi everyone,

    i just came back from my local commbank. they offered me 8.45% term deposit for 7 months. not a bad rate. only vaild for today if your money is with commbank. or… you get a week if you're transferring money from another place.

    It's already 8.45% for 6 months in my bank (Bank of Queensland). Indeed not a bad rate but it would take me at least 9% to get me interested enough to start a term deposit with them. Or 8.45% with less term.

    We'll see what they'd offer tomorrow. :P
