Cheapest Tech Period over The Next 2 Months?

So I'm looking to get a new laptop before my uni starts… when would be the best time period to go laptop shopping? Would it be Christmas sales, boxing day sales or back to school sales?
Any info would be gladly appreciated :)

    I'd guess boxing day but I can't point to anything concrete.

    Probably boxing day.

    *Mind that, start looking now. Deals aren't ever completely time dependent.

    Worst case is you'll find a PC you really like the look of and wait for a sale to pop up during one of these periods.

    I don't think tech follows the clothing sales cycle. Regarding back to school, parents probably overpay during that period. I'd wait a bit after that for unsold stock discounts.
