I have recently joined our company social club, and need to brainstorm ideas for next year.
I work in federal government and our department has over 600+ plus staff.
We run volunteer days, raffles, and sell discount tickets for drink packages and events.
Looking for unique ideas or experiences,and was thinking of trying to implement an employee benefit program like http://strategicrewards.com.au/, but not sure if it is worth it.
Any reasonable idea would be much appreciated?

Pizza day does sound quite good
Conduct a poll (survey monkey or similar) with your work colleagues to garner the ideas, and take it from there. You should also be able to understand if there is sufficient interest to make your efforts worthwhile.
Whatever is suggested here is unlikely to align with your own work environment's culture etc.

Boot camp, yoga, massage in office, golf day, cooking classes, pilates, various dining events, first aid course, office parties on event days e.g. horse racing.
I used to be involved in a state-wide social club for a bank and we had various events like a ball each year etc.
Our most successful was a sporting weekend, particularly one year when we had it in Rockhampton and staff came from all over the state to attend. Each region was able to fundraise amongst themselves to help pay for transport/accom and as a social club we covered the cost of the sporting venues and dinners.
