    I got 3 of them in another deal but they are not charging fast at all so don’t expect too much but price seems to be good.

    • Ok for overnight charging but powerbrick is king.

    • Interesting. I did a search and I couldn't find any other deals posted for this. And it looks to me as though it is a brand new model that is only available for pre-order.

      I assume you have yours paired with a wall charger that is compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and/or 3.0. I just bought the one from this recent post because I found out that the "Adaptive Fast Charging" wall charger that came with my S9+ apparently doesn't support QC 2.0 or 3.0.

      • Apparently it fast charges for a minute then drops back, presumably overheats.

  • How's it compare to the $10 charger at JBs?

      The Jbhifi one is 5W only

      • What's a good speed/features to look for Wireless Charger?

        • Feature: Active fan for improved thermal performance (often the bottleneck for wireless power output), often you'll find passive (non-fan) Qi chargers claim to do fast charging at 10W but in reality could only sustain that level of output for a short period before stabilizing at 5W slow charging level

          Speed: 10W Qi chargers are common nowadays, which is backward compatible with 5W (slow) and 7.5W (Apple's standard of fast charging).
          There are also 15W Qi chargers but there are very rare and only a handful of phones actually can do 15W wirelessly

          • @Mostly Melbourne: Didn't know they even came with fans.

            I only see them without, so is a 10W fanless even worth it if it slows down anway?

            • @capslock janitor: Definitely better than a 5W one, they come pretty cheap anyway $20 for a good brand

              • @Mostly Melbourne: Thanks - how about "overcharge protection" and the likes?

                • +1

                  @capslock janitor: Of course Yes.

                  The protections are pretty standard that built into the power controller and the circuit, but the super cheap no-name brand ones may not have them. In particular metal foreign object detection is critical, this is what happened to a $2 one that doesn't have this feature.

      Those are pretty crap too. Returned mine the next day

  • Does it support 7.5W max output on iPhone X/S? Like the $99 belkin ones?
