Hi all,
I have developed an Android app to help prevent phone addiction, which operates on the principle of blocking you from using your phone. It does this in 3 ways:
- Immediate distraction-free time (free): this allows you to lock your phone for some duration immediately. If you really need to use your device, you can temporarily unlock it for a specified time (say 30 seconds). Phone calls will still come through normally.
- Schedule time (premium): setup times/days for which to lock your phone.
- Geofence locations (premium): setup locations at which to lock your phone.
These promo codes are for the last 2 features, which are normally available for $4.99 as an in-app purchase.
Last time I ran a promo on OzBargain, I pasted a list of promo codes in the description. I understand that can be frustrating and time-consuming, so for this promo I have developed a website (Redeemly) to distribute the 50 promo codes. It simply asks for an email address, and will send the code to that address. I'd love to hear any thoughts on this process as well!
Thanks, and please let me know what you think!
Thanks, but my phone already comes with this feature.
I call it the power off button.
