Coles Online Hacks useful Coming up to Christmas

Heres one I prepared earlier

For those people who want to shop the current catalogue before it ends but don't get paid till Thursday shop as late as you can i.e. checkout before Midnight Tuesday set your Pickup or Delivery time for Friday and Coles will only take money out of your account Thursday Evening

For those people wanting deliveries in the Blacktown area, our service is castrated by delivery windows only up till 2PM, so the closer we get to Christmas the harder it is to get the window you want, so this is where the second hack comes into play, say you want to shop the new catalogue that starts Wednesday morning 12AM and want it delivered some time Thursday, what you can do is start shopping the weekend before and either put $50 worth of "CRAP" in your trolley or $50 worth of Coles branded staples (which don't usually change price from week to week) book in the Thursday delivery window and checkout, then as soon as you reach 12AM Wednesday Morning you have till Midday to modify your existing order and do your actual shop, if you put $50 of "CRAP" in there just remove those items as they were just place holders otherwise you can leave your Coles staples there and just add the items from the new catalogue that you actually wanted, make sure you checkout before Wednesday 12PM and you will have your groceries at your desired delivery time on Thursday, most of the year this is unnecessary but around various public holidays it is a must have strategy I hope this has been of help

    thanks guys I am a bit rusty and next time will start a discussion rather than create a deal DOH! obviously the above doesn't work with Woolworths who want the money "NOW"

          Lol true, some of them can. I saw a homeless guy with a new iPhone once.
          But there are those who buy gumtree phones + prepaid plans, kmart/opshop clothes and can't buy TP in bulk :(

      I am on a pension and sometimes the first hack has allowed me to shop even though I have no money at the time of placing the order, pity I can't do the same with Woolies, also Coles $4 delivery has been a life saver too, can't get a taxi for that amount plus I don't get out of the house much at the moment

        Who even gets taxis? Surely you could walk or catch the bus. Maybe be more careful with money and get a job might be a better hack.

    Here's an alternative "hack' - Actually go & do your shopping on the Friday (after you get paid), and the money will stay in your account you right up until you reach the checkout.
