Just wondering here if anyone can think of ways to reuse glass coffee jars or other products such as Berocca capsule tubes which I have over a hundred of. I really hate throwing out glass coffee jars, I think it's a waste. Egg cartons, milk bottles, I reuse. Use my plastic containers to store opened food in the fridge etc., and take my lunch to work. Bottles I use to put dishwashing and washing liquid in and fill with water.
Do any of you know about “life hacks” in reusing some of these items?
Google is your friend for these.
I searched for 'berocca tube recycle' and there were numerous results. While some listed alternate uses, an important one was that the tubes can be recycled (but probably not the lids - not sure on that). Hoarding 100+ isn't helping anyone.
We re-use egg cartons at the local produce market (but they recycle).
Glass jars can be useful for picnics (salad dressing, milk, etc.), and for storing small things, but they recycle.
