Hit the info button TV SBS HD says 1080i SBS normal 576i but with Channel 9 SD HD channels are both in 576i so David Attenborough blue planet is no better viewing 9HD as it's the same.
Should I start to worry? sports are the same.

Started reading that and thought it was "The Onion" website… A little shocked when I realized it wasn't and that is for real.
It is interesting because I'm sure Planet Earth 2 was full hi-def. Probably they reduced it when they added junk channels. I think 7 started full HD then downgraded to add channels.
Meanwhile in Japan they have an 8k resolution TV channel.
