I booked a holiday in September for 3 weeks time in Europe using HotelsQuickly.
They seemed reputable at the time.
The hotel had free cancellation until end of December
I just got an that stated:
"This is a communication from HotelQuickly in reference to the hotel booking you’ve made with us.
We are very sorry to have to inform you that due to an unforeseen issue with our main provider which has affected many reservations, your booking for the accommodation dates of your planned stay has been canceled.
We fully understand how disappointing this situation is, and we deeply regret to put you in this position.
At the moment and while we are able to find a solution to this difficult circumstance, we can only offer you a refund in the form of a credit voucher for the value of your original booking that you can use for a future reservation. We will be contacting you again shortly."
Firstly I don't want a credit voucher I want a full refund.
Secondly their site has no listings at all for anywhere in the world. Looks like they have all been pulled. So a voucher is useless.
I booked on a credit card (Coles Mastercard) not sure if charge back is an option.
Or I would try to go through their Head Office and remand a refund.
What do you think?
