Requires an external power source for more secure devices as per amazons site. Here is an exert of the notes on the site for this device as well.
Note
-Power Adapter is not included.
-Some USB 3.0 host cards require installing newest driver for the USB device to reach optimal USB 3.0 compatible performance.(recommended)
-For a stable connection, the Hub should not exceed a combined current of 5V/6A.
-External hard drives should be connected to an external power source, the Hub will NOT charge a n iPad (only sync).
-Self-powered devices (like printers and scanners) and low-power devices (like mouse and camera) are available.
-2.4Ghz wireless devices (keyboards, mouse, etc) may not work with USB 3.0 ports, please try using a USB 2.0 connection.Another model cheaper from the same manufacturer:

https://www.amazon.com.au/Baoblaze-Eggplant-Adapter-Charging…holy sh%t that's the oddest USB hub I have ever seen. My GF got excited by the shape - she can see other uses
Confused! Description says it's for MacBook, but the picture looks like the cord has USB Type-A. Can anyone confirm if the picture is wrong and this actually has a Type-C. The description dosen't specify and googling the model number just shows the Amazon link…
So all MacBooks have type C? Confused!
Yes, all MacBooks have Type-C. Old model MacBook Air's had Type-A.

Any chance of applying the code this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07FKZM6W9 @JaneChunLi?
