I love how EB don't include Switch in this despite both games being available on that platform.
It's like when they were clearing out Has Been Heroes for XB1/PS4/PC for $4 and selling the Switch version for $30 still - claiming the prices are set by vendors. Weird considering that it's EB exclusive
I guess they gotta ride that popularity train until it dries out
Has been Heroes is published GameTrust, which is owned by GameStop which owns EB Games, so not a great excuse…
What's the justification in that case for keeping the Switch version priced higher?
is NBA2K19 riddled with microtransactions like the last one?
its 2k not ea genius
awww, a moment of silence for miq.
Depends what you buy the game for. My Career probably is, but I played the 2k18 my career mode without spending an extra cent and still got my guy to around an 86 overall. All microtransactions are avoidable if you're willing to put in time
how much time though - its a massive grind I'm guessing?
I dunno. I'm a basketball guy. I play and coach competitively in the real world so for me it was never a grind. I just enjoyed playing. I played every game of the first season in My Career and about half of the second season. That wasn't the only mode I played and I racked up around 155 in game hours according to my switch
Not that cheap 59$ at amazon
$59 for the one game on Amazon… this is $68 for both Playgrounds and 2K19.
Ah both not bad then 🙂
Boo, no Switch!
(Should put XB1/PS4 in title)
Not available online?
I see it now thanks!
I have both games and to be honest I think gameplay wise they both play well.
In regards to playgrounds, I would say that unless you aim to put 100+ hours into it, i'd pony up for the $15 micro transaction that gets you 7500 gold coins or whatever they are and this lets you unlock all characters.
So $15 sounds like the way to go for the casual gamer.
Do the unlockable characters play any different or are they just skins?
Possibly the most misleading thumbnail at the moment (smash logo) :)
