Pay extra for the Porta Pros. They are AWESOME. Just installed some funky yaxi pads on mine which makes them super comfy.

    • Aren't they basically the same, they just wear differently?

        It makes all the difference.

  • is the price in A$ or US$?

For $30 it's worth trying these even if you own the Porta Pros. I own both the KSC75's and a Porta Pro. Even Z Reviews from YouTube thinks so too. It's a shame Jaycar discontinued these so you can mod the KSC75 to use a headband.

These are fantastic sounding headphones (definitely the best I've personally heard at this price point) but honestly the build quality is bad. I owned a couple of these over 2-3 years using them in bed and each one broke at the solder joint between the speaker and cable. Eventually just stopped re-buying and went with a pair of Xiaomi earbuds instead.

My fabric just fell away over time through deterioration. Bit awkward to wear but they did sound good for the price.

They are good, but they leak more than a typical pair of open headphones. For budget minded, I do like the KZ ZS5. I've got two pairs and I've tried it with the copper and bluetooth cables. Really good bang for your buck.
