This may be targeted. I believe you need to have made a Deliveroo purchase within the last 30 days in order to receive this offer.

This one is a little bit scuffed because the email title and main body refers to receiving $18 credit in the form of 2x $9 discounts after you make a Deliveroo order BEFORE the 8th of December. However the smaller T&C's text in the email refers to it as being $6 off per order, not $9. I believe the reference to $6 is a typo considering there are two other references in the email to it being 2x$9/$18.

Additionally the T&C's text says that the offer is open from 04/12 to 12/12 which is contrary to the 'order by Saturday, 8th December and we'll send you two $9 vouchers for use on your next two orders." text in the main body of the email.

I've emailed Deliveroo to clarify but it will remain to be seen if they respond.

/edit/ Wow this is just incredibly scuffed. I've now called Deliveroo to clarify the details but there was no clarification as it sounded like they were having some office party awards complete with loud clapping and cheering throughout the call. Also the woman said that we have both 14 and 30 days within to make the order to qualify for the vouchers. I tried telling her she was now giving me a third set of conflicting information in regards to the date range for this promotion but again it was difficult to hear her over the cheering/clapping. I've asked her to email me the details so I have a written record in case there are any issues with my claim.

I suspect they may have emailed out varying conditions and offers today and that may be the cause for the confusion.

*Order by 8th December to receive $6 off per order, for a total of 2 orders. Valid from 12:00am 04/12/2018 to 11:59pm 12/12/2018 and is valid for 10 days from redemption. This offer is not able to be used in conjunction with any other offers from Deliveroo. Minimum order of $30 applies.

  • I was a bit confused by this email too.
    So if we order before 12/12, they send us a 2x$9 vouchers. But we only have a further 10 days to spend those vouchers.
    I think that's what it's saying

    • To me it's not clear if we need to order before 08/12 or 12/12. I believe the 2x$9 is a lock though.

        But what spa said is how I got mine last. I paired it with a $5 shipster coupon, and upon successful delivery, you'll get the vouchers in your email. Got mine within 30 minutes of getting my food.

        Edit - Just got mine, but different. Order by 10th. Valid from 4th to 16th. Get $6off your next two orders and valid 14 days from redemption. minimum $30.

        • Thanks for commenting, I had forgotten about the shipster coupons entirely.

          Do we know if the "Minimum order of $30 applies" condition applies to the first order to qualify for the two vouchers? or just on the orders that you redeem your two vouchers?

          • @hetzjagd: Good question - I didn't get to check as both my orders were exactly $30 with delivery so I only paid $24 essentially.

    This one is crazy. I just now received a phone call back from the same woman at Deliveroo's support that I spoke to the first time. She listed off more details and again I had to say to her that 1. she's giving information that is conflicting with what the email says and 2. can she please email me what she is saying so that I have a record of it should I have any issues trying to claim it. I will update if I receive any further communication or definitive clarification from them but at this point I really do not trust this deal and will not be making a purchase myself.

  • Interestingly enough I received my email yesterday for 2x$12 vouchers but my T&C's read:

    "*Add your voucher to your account by Saturday, 15th December. Once added, you have 14 days to use your credit. To use credit, a minimum spend of $35 applies. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer."

  • They ended up getting back to me this afternoon with a reply;

    Thank you for getting in touch.

    I do apologise for this confusion on the email that you've received regarding to the amount of the voucher code. I've raised this to a relevant department and they confirmed that you will receive two set $9.00 for your next order when you place an order by 8th December.

    Please make sure that your click the "Let's order" it will re-direct to your website so you can place an order. After placing an order. Please allow a few days and you will received an email again containing the voucher code.
