  • will there be a credit check?

  • Got the offer too. Not really that useful, nothing I need or want!

  • How did you get the offer?

    • i received letter in post

  • Got an email, but when I went to register it informed that I am not eligible for the offer

    • Likewise. It's actually not a bad offer, as they've waived establishment fees too.
So it's literally an offer where you can extend the time taken to pay off item(s) purchase(s), without the financial/credit implications of interest etc. Not bad at all.
Now if only we could actually accept their invitation…

    • i got it in the post but the website said i wasn't eligible as well!

  • Further info: purchases moved to the instalment plan will be treated separately from the normal statement balance & not be charged interest fees
Regarding the normal statement balance, if you pay in full (as per normal T&Cs), you will not be charged interest

Thoughts: At best, we get a 1-2 month extension to pay for 'purchases over $200' (as we normally get 55 days interest free period anyway)

    • At best, yeah, but it's hard to time stuff to get the full 55 days sometimes.

  • pay your way is a damned nuisance and costs time and money to get rid off - avoid unless desperate.

  • I was thinking how to get it and found it in my email. So do check those emails as I typically ignore them except for the statements. However anyone know how it really works? Do you pick which transaction or the 1st transaction above $200 will be automatically moved to instalment plan.

    • It will move all transactions which are 200+ into the instalment plan. So mostly it will divide the amount by 3 and charge in 3 statements

  • i just enrolled anyway. Won't hurt
