I've been doing laser hair removal at a salon, and whilst there is improvement, I'm wondering what to do for maintenance after my purchased rounds are over. I also find that I'm being charged a fair bit for my legs despite having barely any hair there in the first place.
Originally I contemplated buying the Braun Silk Expert IPL, which is also another top rated IPL device (Shavershop also seem to be the biggest bricks and mortar store with the best price for that product), then I came across the Philips Lumea Prestige.
Pros of the Philips are that it can be used cordless, as well as having additional adapters for delicate or harder to reach areas. The Braun appears to have a more intuitive skin tone sensor (apparently on the fly, rather than on demand), quicker intervals (1-2s between flashes, vs about 3s), and the bulb is rated for longer (300,000 vs 250,000 - this is still measuring in the order of 5+ years).
With the cashback, the Philips ends up $110 cheaper whilst including the adapters which I believe I'll use (I intend to use the ones for lips and armpits), whilst I have no need for a Gilette razor (current inclusion). There is an Amazon AU seller which has the other Braun packages (in order of most to least expensive being the body exfoliator tool [might have been useful], face cleanser [I already have one so not so useful], to the razor) which can be comparable to the SS Philips price, so that might be your cup of tea instead. I wanted to use a bricks and mortar store in case I might need to use the warranty.
Don't forget your Cashrewards cashback.
