  Make sure you ask about it because the two cables look similar (diff length) and weren't near each other in the store at my local store. Tricky aye.

  PS4 uses 2 types depending on the model.
  The Figure 8 cable is $3 at MSY.

  Original PS4 and slims and new PRO's use this one. It's an IEC-C7 plug, commonly called the a Figure 8 connector.

  1st Gen PRO's use a IEC C13 plug.

  @Jace88 is right, get the $5 one from officeworks if that's the easiest to get to. It's the cheapest readily available figure 8 connector. The one you linked to is ALSO figure 8 plug, just longer (don't be fooled).

  Specific retailers e.g. MSY and online shopping can be cheaper but probably won't be as immediate.

  That is the correct cable for the original PS4, yes, not for the pro. Not sure about the new PS4 slim.

    Newer Pro consoles use the smaller cable.

  Jaycar would have them as well, maybe cheaper, i'm too lazy to check.
