I have no idea how good or bad these guys are. But Id be hesitant of:

    A) not using someone recommended. As someone heavily involved in the fifness scene, there are so many personal trainers who know shit all, or give out totally incorrect jncormation
    B) no trainer profiles on the website, including qualifications, experience and areas of fitness expertise.
    C) paying upfront for multiple sessions before doing a single session with your trainer.

    • Totally agree with you. That's why we offer a free consultation before they need to buy anything.

After they get in contact with us, we choose a personal trainer we believe is best for whatever goals they want to achieve. The personal trainer will then visit the customer for their consultation. If they are not happy for whatever reason we can easily swap the trainer. They can also simply not go along with it.

As for our trainers, they are all ready and qualified. However, I will let the boss know about the trainer profiles. Thanks for the tip!

      • Um, aren't you the boss? According to your ABN the business is yours

  • I've not really heard of personal trainers working with physiotherapists to help with 'issues'. I thought only exercise physiologists were qualified to 'treat'.
I agree with @sambutler9876..im skeptical. Paying for a plan upfront does not sit well with me.

Personal trainers with a cert 4 can work with physios to treat issues. They are just not able to diagnose so they must refer to a physio or doctor first if an issue arises

      • That boggles my mind. A cert 4 doesn't take long to get compared to a uni degree that goes through anaotomy and physiology comprehensively over 4yrs.

This isn't uncomment. The idea is that physios provide the specific exercises or rehab and the (cert4 qualified) personal trainer ensure the client is doing them and doing them correctly.
          Example :
The physio and the trainer can talk and the physio can say, "hey, I want our client doing squats, but they've got a hip impingement so don't go too low and I really need them to focus on core activation before they initiate the move…"
It's much safer for clients to have their physio involved in their physical activity and often provides better outcomes for the client.

Wow, I'm 51 and first time I've been called 'elderley'.

    • forgive me sir! did not mean to offend you in any way, totally skipped my mind. I have changed it now.

Not all over 50's can afford that cost…..

    • Personal training (from my experience) usually ranges from $50 to over $250, and you usually have to have some sort of membership to a gym.
We are providing a mobile service, so we are going to you rather than making you go to us.

We understand that even though we see this as a really low price, not everyone can afford it. If you are someone who really needs it, get in contact with us (shoot us an email or send us a text message, whatever you're comfortable with) and let us know your situation and your budget. We will try our best to find a personal trainer who is willing to help. However, we can't force them to do it if they don't want to.

  • I'm not sure the OP realises just how condescending their post is.
    A senior at 51. (wow)
Referring to us as "our seniors" (isn't that just too cute! )
Referring to "they" "their" "them" as if anyone over 50 couldn't possibly be using a computer themselves.

    • I'm sorry you feel that way, perhaps we have worded it wrong, but we are trying to help by giving a big discount and a mobile service
