Why don't you just replace the bag?
What does it look like? Is it just the zip head or the zipper length which is torn? (You can usually buy those quick fix zip heads, but I recommend putting some superglue on the outside to keep it from coming loose as you'll often find yourself in a rush and pull the zipper head off if you haven't done this step)
It's easy to do, I usually replace the zipper line on mine within 20 minutes. Zipper head is basically a few seconds or minutes depending on which type of fix you want. Other quick fixes are get a clamp and press gently on the sides of the zipper head to make sure it is grasping the zipper line.
Look up guides on Youtube. Hard to know what exactly needs to be fixed.
If you want to pay someone to do it, usually it is around $20-30; just go to the chinatown or equivalent area in your city. Also depends on the complexity… Weigh that up against a new bag.
