I have a few accounts across our family with approx 6000 miles in each
Is this worth anything in terms of sale value? I understand you can’t transfer so probably not, but not sure if I’ll be able to build them up to a reasonable amount in the short term.
Any thoughts would be great thanks. (And if they are worth something, happy to sell)

There's a whole load of stuff for under 6000 points but nothing that would really do much good to us.
We aren't expecting any international flights any time soon either to contribute them towards a flight booking.
Are there any gift card type redemptions?
Or any experience with converting them to velocity points?
We basically have 4 family members all with 6181 points each.
Wonder if I could convert them all to velocity, but to the one velocity account (or later merge with velocity) and use that way?

Yes you can transfer Kris Flyer to Velocity at a rate of 1.35 to 1, so hose 6181 will get you 4,579 velocity, per account.
Assuming you did this to all 4 accounts and then pooled them, you would get 18,316 velocity points. I don't know what value you get from that so check out their online store or award charts to see what flights you can get.
If you then wanted to move the 18,316 velocity points back to Kris Flyer, again it's 1.35 to 1, so you end up with 13,567 KF points.
The 1.35 to 1 relates to any conversions prior to 31/12/2018, as that rate will increase to 1.55 to 1.
Legend thanks for all that detail. I’ll see what I can do with them as velocity points as domestically I recall being able to get simple stuff like movie tickets and other ‘better than nothing’ items

As you can't transfer between accounts this will limit what you can do with it.
As they are small amounts, look at the Kris Flyer store to see if you can buy anything, I haven't looked at what you can buy but I am guessing you might get around $30-$40 value per 6,000 - otherwise if you can't use it, see if you can donate any points to a charity - rather than letting Kris Flyer force it to expire and save them money.
IF you had 12,500 points per account, then this might get a bit more interesting because there are some points flights which are excellent value. South West Pacific to South West Pacific is 12,500 one way, so for example, Perth, Australia to Papeete, French Polynesia .. if I paid cash ticket, this is $800 one way, even in economy. And at this point, there are people out there - I would have been tempted - to get you to book a flight for me (as your nominee) in exchange for $150-200 bux. Yes, I am benefiting, but $150 is better value than the $80 that you get on the KF store (as per my example above where $30-40/6,000).
