I recently purchased a Mi Notebook Pro from Gearbest on sale.
Not having the best time tbh.
Approx. 5 days after ordering, I checked up to see where it's at (as processing was said to take 3-5 days)
They later informed me that the laptop was unavailable, and I had two options:
(1) Wait it out. They basically said they're not sure as to how long. Could be 7-14 days to restock (I highly doubt this as they took payment for a product they never had initially).
(2) Choose a different item.
Obviously, I should have done my due diligence as this forum specifically seems to be plastered with bad reviews.
I do want the product, but feel like I'm either going to be waiting months for them to resolve stock issues, or not receive anything.
Support also seems to be lacking which doesn't fill me with confidence.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and care to share their opinions and/or recommendations?
Thanks in advance for your input.
Or:
3. Take refund
4. Buy elsewhere
Really doesn't seem complicated. They'll give you a refund if you ask.
