Nah, it is just a standard controller. The Fortnite element of the bundle is simply a code for an additional in-game cosmetic item and some in-game currency.
It's not a bad price for an additional controller if he needs one though.
Yeah looks like the vbucks is only worth line $6.5 so maybe not that exciting unless he needs a controller (which I'm not sure he really does). Shame the controller didn't have a skin or some other gimmick :) thanks

Does anyone know if the dlc code for Fortnite is locked to Australia only? I bought one of these earlier from a previous deal. The packaging states the code was issued by Sony Europe. Reason I ask is they are going for more $ in the overseas market.
