This shop serves soba noodles too, not just Udon.

Their website is faulty as the menu items (1-20) are broken links and go no-where but their noodles are certainly good value for $ especially on 6/12. The beef and tempura items are highest price ($9.80 - $12.00). Other menu items start from $4.80 (plain noodle) to $7.80.

Save this date in your calendars. Only 2 stores and both in CBD.

  is it cook by JP chef? i've tried some really good noodles in JP.

  same thing goes for sushi. after trying a few real good JP ones, most AU sushi just couldn't cut it

    I doubt the chef is JP. I see them adopt a fast food approach, with packet udons and hot water to blanch them, then the broth is added. Not sure if the broth is prepared centrally?
    If it helps, I've been there several times, Elizabeth St branch and I've always seen JP customers there.
