While searching for a good deal on Weber baby q on eBay, I saw some posts of the same listing of $259 Free shipping across 3 accounts, then a day later, they all seem to be sold (as the listing said it is ended) and the completed listing show those items as green. Are they actually sold that fast? Have the items actually paid? It has been the 5th day I observe this sale, and it looks like it is cheapest but I hesitate to buy.
This is my first post, I wonder if I can share the listing link here?
Thanks for any discussion :)
Just be cautious of "eBay triangulation fraud", do a google search for it.
Don't know if it is in this case but finding this increasing significantly lately on eBay. Takes a month or two usually for issues to arise and negative feedback to start appearing. Spotted a few fraudalent sellers recently selling Weber bbq's sets doing this.
Check what other items they are selling, if it is just a mix or products ranging $100 to $300 mark usually. Often lego, pet food, perfume, bbq sets.
Check their feeback history, especially compare 6 months vs 12 months stats to check if most of their feedback is within last 6 months (most likely last month or two).
Good luck.
