My son will go to school next year and the school item list mentioned we should prepare one "over ear style" headphone for him.
However, I did some searching online and found most of the kids headphone are "on ear", no matter the popular Kidz Gear ones, or JBL junior ones, or the cheaper ones in Kmart/target.
Any suggestion about where I can find a kids over ear one for him?

The primary school my kids go to recommended the following (all available at Big W - may be cheaper elsewhere)

The first ones say they are over ear -the others don't specify whether on ear or over ear. We've been pleased with the verbatim ones in the past.
Pretty sure they just mean over the head style, as opposed to in ear. I doubt they would care in the slightest if they are on ear or over ear (although over is comfier so would be good if you can find some).

Just like djkelly mentioned, the school does not really care it is on-ear or over-ear.
So I just got a JBL jr300 for him, seems nice and has stickers to spell the name as school required.
