hi,

looking for inexpensive car hire in Melbourne.

will be travelling ~1000kms so carnextdoor is not great.

preferrably carhire in the south eastern suburbs + towards to the city.

Cheapest I have found is Budget Car Rental. Go to expedia.com.au as it search prices at multiple locations. Sometimes a location that is farther is cheaper.

ended up going through ladybug.com (car rental consolidating site). it took me to a US site called carrental8.com.

managed to get a x-trail through budget for AU$853 for 16 days.
