      With the failure rate of current Gopros I'd be inclined to pay the little extra for local stock and local Aussie warranty…

  Got one of these, took it for a short trip to Bali. Went parasailing, under sea walking, waterbom park, normal swimming pool, the lot. This little guy performed superbly! One purchase I definitely not regret.

  FYI I flashed mine w/ the Hero 5 Black firmware before doing all the above.

  Just looking to buy a GoPro as a family Christmas present. Not sure whether to test the waters with something like this or just dive right in and get the latest 7 model. The stabilization stuff sounds good but honestly didn’t look that dramatically different on the videos I watched comparing models. I’m happy to pay if the latest and greatest is a much better experience, hate buying things and feeling like I’ve missed out on features
