Does anyone know if there are any recyclers that sell hardware? I did a bit of searching but I am mostly only finding places that dismantle hardware and recycle it (eg removing metal).

Not when I'm looking for a store I can walk into not a website I can contact random people on.
You are probably thinking of swap meets. I believe they used to advertise on the trading post.
Personally I would be looking at Amazon for used server parts if I needed a cheap and reliable box
What sort of parts are you looking for?
Where are you located?
Most parts that are worth doing anything with are sold through ebay.
Your best bet would be filtering through the thousands of posts on gumtree or used/classified sections on various pc tech websites.
Good luck as with anything tech related or pc hardware related it can be anywhere.
