Basically I bought a camera from a large retail brick and mortar store.
The camera has a sticker on and a tag attached to the camera with a sticker that said "bonus $125 EFTPOS gift card"
I asked the store rep if it comes with $125 gift card as shown on the camera. He said yes however I have to go through Sony and I do that after purchase.
Purchased the camera, got home tested it had some fun and then went to claim the cashback
Got on the promtion website and the camera isnt listed. Now I am a bit upset about this.
What should I do? I am obviously not entitled to it from Sony.
Cashback via EFTPOS dilemma with Sony product

Easy - you basically ask the store to make good on their promise. If they attached the sticker incorrectly, and it induced you to buy the product, they need to either provide you with the equivalent (perhaps a $125 credit in-store), or a refund as you made your decision to purchase the item based on this promise.
You need to decide how you want to approach it. But you should not have a problem doing one or the other (credit or refund). Be prepared to give the camera back if it's a refund you want.
And do it quickly.
Have you talked to the store rep? False advertising is enough reason for you to get a refund and return. I doubt they need to give you a $125 voucher themselves though
