Hi,
I signed up for a Foxtel Now trial a few days ago, with the assurance of receiving a free trial period of 2 weeks, and then no payment if cancellation within the 2 weeks.
After going through the sign up process with it continually stating I'll have a trial, and then also AFTER putting in my payment details, it still said "Try 2 weeks free with all packs" and "^Total reflects the amount you'll pay on the first month after your trial or offer ends.". I noticed the next day I had a charge of $104.
I have been contacting their support by Twitter, although have been unhappy with their responses. All they want to offer is $104 in account credit and stating they won't refund me.

What would be the best thing to do?
On the free trial page today at the bottom it says "Foxtel Now free trial only available to new customers"
As you admitted to them, you are not a new customer…..
Unless you have proof that on the day when you signed up they didn't have anything on any of the pages you agreed to that said that, I would say their advertising was not misleading, you just didn't read the fine print. So take the free credit.
