You can probably sell it second-hand for $100 early next year and make a $50 profit.

  • $50 better off than the previous posted deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/414044

  • Can you use it with other cameras? Olympus? Thanks.

      Seems not.

"Lenses made by camera manufacturers will operate only on their camera brand. You cannot use a Nikon lens on a Pentax, for instance. There are, however, many independent companies that manufacturer lenses in different “mounts.” The big three are Sigma, Tokina, and Tamron.

    • Sometimes you get weird and whacky adapters that let you use one manufacturer's lens on another. Some of the latest ones out there for Sony in particular are usable. But in general it's a bad idea. With many you'd lose autofocus (so manual focus only), and/or metering and/or even the ability to control the aperture. And the adapters cost money. In short, don't bother.

    • It depends what mount they use, in this case, this lens has a Fujifilm X mount.

    • Simple answer is no, it will only work on Fuji. Also adaptors would be exceedingly difficult to produce for this,,,, so also an almost definite no on that count too.

OMG. I'm having the gear acquisition syndrome. I got me a 56mm f/1.2 and I don't even use it. Should I sell it?

    • +1

no,the 56 lens is a keeper for many years.

      • Thanks, I guess I just need that moral support of keeping my lens.

    • Do you find yourself using the wider lens more or which? I was thinking of getting the 56mm

      • +1

I don't really go out and shoot people. I mean I would like to but I use my 35mm more than this but honestly, I wish I went with a 23mm instead.

        • Shooting people would definitely be frowned upon.

    • +1

If you like a wider angle I highly recommend the 16mm. It is on my X-T1 90% of the time.

  • Thanks OP, couldn't help myself! $60 is just too good.

    • Same here. Great price.
      Thanks OP

    • Note that the cashback only can be claimed for 1 item.

      • only one person one cash back (for one item?)

  • It's now 199 when I'm going to pay for it
    So Sad

  • thought it might be a pricing error. Wonder if they will honor it?

Just got this today. Looks like they were Oz-bargained out. Good on them for fulfilling their orders.

In relation to your Fujifilm 27mm lens ordered, we've had a significantly larger than expected influx of these orders. In fact, we had a set quantity rule setup for the quantity available, however this website rule did not activate correctly when we sold out, meaning we sold substantially more than the quantity intended for the sale. The good news is, we've been able to secure more stock from Fujifilm, which we expect to be able to fulfil between the 5th-10th December. If you're happy to proceed, there's nothing you need to do, we'll just fulfil the order as soon as they come in. If you're not in a position to wait, please advise us and we'll be happy to cancel
and refund, or switch your order to another product.

    • Confirmed they honoured the order. :)
