Did anyone else try to buy a phone from gearbest? I added to cart on the dot said there were 10 left, added to cart but the price was never discounted in my cart or on the page, always showing as $650+, what a scam

F-in post office scammed me on stamp. How dare they charge me $5 for 5 $1 stamps. Bunch of thieves
I always felt that it'd be nice that if we bought a book of 10 stamps that we'd get one free, making it $9.00. Especially given the incredible financial reward given to the last CEO they had.
offering something, displaying it and then not following through with the ability to purchase it for the benefit of increasing traffic is a scam
How do you know 10 other people didn't beat you ?
That's entirely possible, but for over 2 minutes it displayed that the full quantity was available, clicking through to the product page or adding straight to cart would instantly result in a higher than advertised price. two other people who were trying experienced the same situation, and suddenly as the 5 minute deal timer expired, all 10 were sold.
This also happened with yesterdays mi 8 deal, which even ended displaying that not a single phone from the deal had been purchased.

So the discount wasn't displayed on the page, nor on the cart… so now it's a scam because you didn't get a discount.

it was displayed on the page, you added to cart and the price went up in your cart, it was also advertised for about 3 days leading up that it would be that price

Checked their prices for a certain thing, and turned out a US-based business undercut them by miles:

I was there. This was exactly what happened to me. Kept clicking.. it was always $650, 0/10 sold.. with a 5min countdown. After the 5mins, it just turned to 10/10 sold. Clearly a scam.
