Royal Canin Oral Care Cat Food 8kg

This Royal Canin dental cat food is designed for adult cats 1-7 years old prone to tartar and plaque. Oral and dental sensitivities include bad breath, tooth decay and plaque & tartar build-up. It also helps to reduce hairballs by easing intestinal transit.

With a dual action effect it can result in a 59% reduction in tartar formation after 28 days of exclusive use. It does this in two ways:
Contains active anti-tartar agent (sodium polyphosphates) that traps calcium in saliva and prevents it from being deposited on the teeth as tartar.
The shape, size and texture of kibble works like a toothbrush to gently scrape away plaque.

Convenient large size provides approximately 139 days feeding.

  • I was going to get this Black Hawk 15kg for $90.29. Any reason why I should spend more for less on Royal Canin?

    • None, ingredient list is very similar.

    • Where’s this black hawk deal? Is it grain free?

    • +1

It's meant to encourage chewing instead of swallowing and apparently designed to be abraisive on teeth when chew to breakdown plaque.

Vet told me to get dental car biscuit but I've still get a ton left of my 15kg bag of Blackhawk I got for $70 a while ago

  • Does this kibble comes with toothpaste included? What's the reason behind oral care?

    Awful ingredients by the way.

    • Thanks Dr Colombian!
