Been waiting for a Black Friday deal on Ziwi Peak 2.5kg as was running low on supplies.

Ebay sent an email saying Petbarn's Ebay listing had a price drop to just over $100
Clicked the link, and saw that PEPPY also applies bringing it to just over $80

Suffice to say, added a few other Petbarn items.

NOTE: Shipping was NOT combined for each item and it added up pretty quickly ($5 per item), so use the Click and Collect from the Physical Store to save on Shipping.

    For some reason the item i wanted wasn't able to be shipped to my location, and it wouldn't let me select click and collect. So i changed my address to a location that they shipped to, and then was able to click and collect from a store nearby.

      Nice workaround - yes, I noticed quite a few items couldn't be posted to Sydney Metro for whatever reason.
      Store pickup definitely the way to go, as postage was charged per item

    Am I missing something here? 2.5kg for $80 is heaps? I spend at least that much on a bag of ivory coat which isn't cheap and that's 12kg.

      Ziwipeak is one of the most premium and expensive dog food out there. It’s grain free and air dried.

      I don’t just feed my dogs their air dried food, but mix it with wet cans (those are similarly priced as Wellness Core) and vegetables and fruit.

      Take it like a high quality supplement if you will.

      The point is, they rarely go on sale and is almost always excluded from Petbarn’s own “site wide” sale. So this is definitely a bargain if you compare it with its normal price.

      Totally agree with you regarding raw volumes.

      I'm not sure about Ivory coat servings but Ziwipeak uses their own miniscoop as opposed to Cups.

      It might be all marketing, but they have a conversion explanation https://www.ziwipets.com/ziwi-difference/scoop-science that might help explain.

      I guess the best analogy I can think of is washing powder … concentrate has smaller scoops … lol

      Having said that, I'm not sure if my dog appreciates the scientific explanation of why her bowl isn't as full!

      Like zzzman, we use it to supplement other foods.

    found the prices of most fleas and tick meds to be more expensive than petcircle..even after using the code..

      check again. some items are either single pack, 3 pack or 6 pack so prices vary a lot.
      For example Comfortis orange 6 pack at petcircle is $75. Petbarn approx. $55.
      Edit: but then again - item itself is not on sale - just the 20% discount makes it cheaper than usual

      vetnpetdirect is often cheaper than everywhere, eg seresto is $40. At perbarn with this sale & code combo it's ~$31 down from $52 normally @ revolution 6pk is ~$40 down from $70-$100

    Thanks OP. To owners who use the monthly stuff like Advocate or Nexguard, do you guys treat tapeworm too? I would love a monthly chew that covered everything but they never cover tapeworm. Currently I do all wormer+flea and tick+yearly heartworm. I would use the monthly stuff if there was a separate medication just for tapeworm.

      I hate monthly stuff so stick to 3 monthly products. Bravecto for flea/tick treatment and Drontal all wormer for worms.
