      I'd say this set is better from light suitcases weight point of view. Hard casing is almost double the weight…

        That’s incorrect.
        Have a look at the product in the link for the hard cases.
        Small: 2.7kg - 55L
        Medium: 3.7kg - 79L
        Large: 4.6kg - 150L

        Those weights are doubled and you get the same if not more capacity with the hardcases.
        The hard cases are also 8 wheeled vs 4.
        I think the hard cases look more stylish but that is subjective.

          When you air travel, last thing you want is your suitcases weight itself to take much of your luggage allowance. Lighter the better, but each to its own I guess.

              @gamemaster: Some gap here bud. The weight mentioned for large suitcases is 3.2kg for Aura model, and 2.7kg for Titus. Considerable difference as compared to 4+kgs hard cases.

                @aaruu: Incorrect friend, hard cases are not all 4+ kgs.
                Antler Atom model is 2.8kg.
                If you look at the Samsonite range of hard cases, there are several large hard suitcases which are less then 3.0kg eg Lite-Shock at 2.5kg, Cosmolite 3 at 2.6kg.

                  @gamemaster: Agree, not all hard cases weigh as much, but pricing gets a bit in killer zone, especially with the likes of Samsonite. This Antler Titus one for $297 & buying it from eBay instead reduces cost even further. Thanks for sharing the links above anyway!! :)

    Have been following the luggage deals on Catch, this has been the price since past few months on these sets. Went to $299 & $329 in between on club catch. Unfortunately, no special offer or price on Black Friday!!
