Awesome. Snagged a $100 gift card for $80 for my US account. Good savings to be had. Thanks OP.

  • What do you use the USA cards for?

A while ago I created a US iTunes account to install an app that wasn’t available in the Australian App Store. This turned off iCloud Music Library even though I’d signed back into my Australian iTunes account. It wouldn’t reenable & I had to restore to get it back.

The same thing happened when I used the US account a couple more times. This has discouraged me from exploring why you would go down this path.

    Thanks

    • i have the lounge apple tv set to US iTunes store. Handy for itunes movies and tv shows that aren't on/cheaper than the iTunes Australia store.
with a VPN it also means you have access to hulu etc.

it means I don't see a lot of Australian content on iTunes, can't stream from Stan etc. but to be honest, that isn't a very big loss.
You can still stream from amazon prime and netflix, just doesn't work well with the TV app and you have to go into the actual apps.

got a card. it took about half an hour to arrive in my email account. personally happy to have found a way to buy US itunes gift cards without having to ask my US sister in law all the time.
