I need to get a laptop for my son in gr11. Thought i might treat him with at least a 1060 gpu. I have looked at dell g5 but the battery has me worried for a full day of classes. Any suggestions? Was thinking of black friday deals as i have limited cash. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Could be cheaper to look into a battery pack that you can remotely charge the laptop?

Its generally hard to find a gaming laptop with a long battery life.
The old inspiron gaming laptops with 1050TIs had a great battery at 74WHrs but the new G-series only have 56WHrs.
