i'm a bit weary of these deals after my experiences with the last ones, if you don't have to tell them you have a coupon until your paying yeah sure, but they defiantly didn't give us all you can eat, we were constantly asking for more, and only got as much as we did as other tables didn't want what they got.
unless i know that were not going to be treated any different for having a coupon, think ill give these places a miss in the future.
thats a general view, not directed at this place.. but when you have a coupon some places use it as a sample rather than to give you the full service. - that said, my mate went with his partner months ago and they where heaps better.
Yeah after reading all these nightmare reviews of people using coupons I would be careful.
I do not like that they require you to tell them you are using a coupon when you are booking. If they have agreed to the coupon deal they should treat you like a normal customer then when you are paying you have the choice of providing the coupon and they can adjust the bill then. Telling them for the coupon before hand means you are straight away going to get below average service.
couldn't agree more.. re paying and giving the coupon at that stage rather than at the start… getting it at the start from you is basically telling you they are going to be providing less service.
if they provide a coupon, I would have though it was to get some customers in the door.
the other thing is once you've paid for these coupons they have your money, its not like you can storm out if they don't meet there end of the bargain.
its customers "locked in"
shame for them I guess, as the Melbourne one down here was actually OK when i'd visited them before, i would have gone there more, but not after this service. it should have been a sample is there to get you in, not to put you off.
last thing that really p'd me off was that our serving size was also minisqual. tables next to us where getting thick slabs of meat ours where off cuts, could not believe it when i looked around.
I guess what it comes down to - and my point in using a coupon and how it links to this post…
if your using a coupon, many places out there will cut corners to make some of the money back.
so i guess you could almost expect it… not saying thats how everyone is… but dont be surprised.
Would someone be able to link the review websites? I've seen so many of these brazilian bbq buffet but i'm not exactly sure if we will get the same service with the voucher.

ha thanks i did a search and what i meant was something more along the lines of
Been there once, tastes pretty good, was a full fee customer~
I think it really depends on the restaurant. I used one of these coupons for an all you can eat brazillian bbq place, where they asked if I had a voucher upfront. I handed it over before the meal even started, but the service was absolutely fantastic. They even checked to make sure we managed to try everything when we got up to leave. The waiters kept coming back with my favourites and ate until I was stuffed. Compared this to another place in the city that tried to kick us out after an hour, because they had another booking and they wanted our table.
Ok after reading the above comments, i wuoldnt want to travel all the way to bondi for crap service. i will pass :)
Just spoke with a rep at the restaurant…
i am tempted to buy this ( may be coz im hungry ) but want to know if this will be a fiasco like the ones happened in the past at brazilian restaurents ?
