50% off VST Instruments and Effects @ Native Instruments

30

Native Instruments has a big 50% sale for Thanksgiving, with a HUGE range of their instruments on special.

Unfortunately their Komplete series (Komplete, Komplete Select, Komplete Ultimate and Komplete Ultimate Collector's Edition) is not on sale.

However if you don't have or plan to get the Komplete bundles then this is a great way to pick up some of their flagship products like Kontakt 6 (AU$299.50), Battery 4 (now AU$149.50) etc. or some of their many, many other instruments or effects (Session Horns Pro, Alicia's Keys, Session Strings Pro, etc.

If you've got any of the Komplete sets below the Collector's Edition, an upgrade to Collectors Edition will currently cost you AU$899. So if the only thing you're after that you haven't already got is the Symphony Series Collection then this 50% off sale could be a cheaper way of doing it. However if you can wait for a sale on Komplete you'll probably get what you're missing for less.

Cool! I don't do any vocal stuff to be honest because a) I don't have a good mic and b) I don't have a good voice. (I have a good face for radio and a good voice for the newspaper.)

There's also a bunch of deals available at https://bestservice.de.

Melodyne 4 is on special at 50% off: https://shop.celemony.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CelemonyShop
        Essentials €49
        Assistant €249
        Upgrade to Assistant €49

It's excellent for modifying vocals but, as far as I know, it can't help with a good-for-radio face.

Haha, my voice has a built in distortion filter, which saves me a few bucks on effect VSTs.

  • I've just checked my account history, and the last two versions of Komplete were discounted by 50% about nine months after release - the last (to K11, released Sep 2016) was June 2017, the one before that (K10, released Sep 2014) was June 2015. K12 also came out in September, so hopefully they'll follow the same pattern and we'll see it on special in June 2019.

There's no discount to any Komplete product if you already own any of the products individually so, if you plan to upgrade or migrate to a new Komplete version, you're much better off waiting.
