I'm in the market for a Bosch 9Kg Washing Machine as the old F&P packed up. My options are limited to their top of the range WAY32891AU model as we already have the matching dryer and the washing department head(AKA Wife) wants this specific model. Feedback and reviews for this have been generally positive so I obliged to her request.
Have done plenty of research and found the following resellers who can order the Bosch and I'm trying to come up with a way to get the best price out of the three as this washer is quite dear.
Appliancesonline - Can get the best price if I could combine with the eBay 15% off sitewide from this evening. The issue is they do deliveries for Sydney Metro only for this particular model. Not sure why as they have other models being delivered to Melbourne Metro (where I live). I've emailed them asking to make an exception and even willing to pay extra for shipping but I doubt I'll get a response before the eBay deal ends.
HN - This model is not advertised on their website but they could order one for me. Most expensive out of all and not being available on their website I doubt this would ever be publicly discounted or considered a catalog special.
David Jones - Same as HN. They currently don't have stock but can order (On DJs website it is advertised as $2000+ but the person I spoke with over the phone said they could order one for $1800) I've looked into 10% off DJ gift cards via entertainmentbook and other rewards schemes but not being a current member of any of those I don't want to get a paid membership just to buy these gift cards.
I'm trying to get at least a 10% discount on the marked price and 15% (as with eBay) would be awesome.
Do you guys have any suggestions/tricks/tips/hacks to achieve a 10%+ discount somehow. I was even thinking of holding on till Black Friday but considering how limited my options are I have very little hope that anything would change this weekend price-wise.
