I paid 100 for the 480gb just 2 months ago :O
Hope they continue to trend downwards
If these trends continue… ayyyyyy.
Some analysts are predicting SSD prices will drop by 50% in 2019. \o/
(Although before you think HDD are on the way out Seagate predicts it will have 100TB HDD by 2025 … you can never have enough storage! :p)
100TB? Won't even need certain websites anymore ;)
Because that's a lot of portable hard drive.
Thanks for the post :)
Why not pay the extra and get the Samsung 860 evo? Superior ssd in terms of speed, reliability, warranty, support, etc?
This entry ssd is for casual users like your grams who's been using mechanical drives for years, and when seeing her pages load faster would be like "oh, that's nice" instead of "I'm spitting in the next lemon meringue pie I'm making for young-Bargain4Days because he cheaped out on me"

Its like 10 more for the 500gb model
Casual users don't care and just want it to work
It's the reason why people are buying the green WD ssd's despite being at the same pricepoint
My educated guess would be that people would just be looking at the brandname when buying instead of looking at speedtest screenshots or internet reviews at this $35-50 120gb ssd entry level, and commit to buy the same brand at 240/480gb when they realize that 120gb isn't enough space but want to keep using the same brand because they've had no problems with them
Same for MSY on the Kingston 120gb @ $35
I'm getting really sick of these sellers abusing the eBay Plus seller program… Got this mail from them in my eBay account after purchase. So no free postage I presume, despite saying free postage…

Apus Auction Express - Division of ShoppingSquare.com.au"Apus Auctions is shonky - the last "new" HDD I bought from them already had someone else's Russian movie files on it. They sell second hand items as new.
Hi Redhab
Apus doesn't sell second hard drive, you may PM me with your order details, i might able to help.
eBay plus is not required with this listing.
I think you fail to see what i'm saying. Theyre labelling items for free shipping then trying to charge shipping, they're also eBay Plus items, the two are mutually exclusive but eBay Plus should've guaranteed free shipping but they arent honouring that either.
What part of "free shipping" don't you get…. There is NO delivery charge. FFS
Thank you, come again.
