Why would you support that (profanity) when it's been this price for weeks elsewhere?

Harvey Norman is for price errors only.

Let's go Eevee is currently $59 at Amazon AU plus 8% cashback.

Hmm… wait for delivery or walk into a store and pick it up? I think I know which one I prefer.

        Do you even OzBargain?

Sorry for placing more than $4.72 value on being able to play a game today rather than sit around waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

@Hintswen: Personally I'm waiting for Black Friday, kinda tempted to get the Switch/let's go/pokeball set currently at $559 plus 8% cashrewards from Amazon AU… At the moment that'd end up being $514.28. The lets go/pokeball set is $99 at Target so it's just over $400 for the special console. Decisions decisions.

              @em:

The lets go/pokeball set is $99 at Target

And in stock essentially nowhere :(

@Domingo: Yep! I'm more just thinking of how I can justify spending $500 on a console/game/pokeball set haha.

              • @Domingo: Is it really sold out everywhere?

            • +1

@em: you are better off getting the game for $99 and console for $399 (followed by 8% cashback) which ends up at around $460 from Amazon.

              That's how I ordered mine :)

Perhaps that combo will be even cheaper during black friday sale

              • @Blorgglorg: But then it's not a cool special console! :) But yes otherwise I could have bought the grey console during the 11% CR sale the other night. Will see what happens with Black Friday…

@Hintswen: If people didn't buy it on release date, a couple more days won't matter.

            • @ronnknee: Except it does matter to some people. I regularly buy games a few days after they are released because that gives it a few days for any major issues to be found before I go paying for a faulty game. Pretty common practice among people that don't preorder.

              • @Hintswen: If you insist. At least 8 people think otherwise.

Do you know why you're on 9 negs?

Tight arses are outraged over the $4.72 waste of money?

          • @sallan75: Bit more than that, I think.

I think it's because if you think the $4.72 is worth picking it up today, sure - by all means, do it. $4.72 is not a ridiculous premium to pay for immediate consumption.

However, it was dismissed as if what what "em" raised was wrong or irrelevant to this deal. It is actually probably going to be a better deal for many people, but if people wish to pay $4.72 to play it today, then that's where this deal becomes relevant.

            • @illumination: Uh no. He's arguing Amazon shipping is slower AND you pay $4.72 vs paying $0 and going down to HN that exact same day and picking it up and playing it immediately.

No one is paying $4.72 for immediate consumption. It's faster for him to not pay for shipping and instead do c&c.

              • @Blitzfx: Amazon is free shipping and 8% cheaper…

                • @em: oh my bad. thought he was talking about 4.72 shipping cost. not 8% cashback.

      • +2

Would definitely rather pay an extra 4 dollars to have it in my hand then waiting a week for it.

what about Pikachu? Are they going to restock to $59

  • EB Games in Prahran refused to price match. JB on the other hand had no issues.
