Aluminium bike for a 9 year old...

Hay All.

Seeking a ‘mountain bike’ style bike for a 9 year old boy. Want a decent quality one but there’s so many on offer and such variable quality.

Reality,, will never go ‘mountain biking’ so doesn’t need hardcore. Want a good quality one, not too heavy, but not fussed about anything too serious.

All bikes we’ve looked at seem to be either super cheap (Kmart steel) or super expensive independent bike stores… can someone tell me where / what to look at in the middle ?

    Torpedo7 make decent enough aluminium frame bikes, and often have sales for 30-50% off.

    This one looks decent if you can get it on sale.

      Looks decent, however, will probably want a 24" for a nine year old.

        Yeah I wasn't sure on size but they have 24s as well. My son is 8 and still on an 18" from them (although starting to outgrow it) so just guessed.
