Chromebook - Asus C302CA or Samsung Chrombook Pro

Hi OzBargainers,

I'm looking at getting an Asus C302CA or Samsung Chrombook Pro, but I'm put off by the really high prices and lack of availability in Australia.

The C302CA is available on Amazon.au for $929:

I'd also consider a Pixel Slate, but it looks like it'll be really expensive!

Can anyone find me a good bargain on one of these?

    Why not just buy it from B&H? Amazon US used to deliver those 2 models to Australia — at around the same unit price but cheaper postage, but now you can't get it delivered from Amazon US.

      That's what I'm leaning towards, just wanted to see if I could get any cheaper.

    Both great devices. I personally elected for the Samsung Chromebook Pro because of the (arguably) slightly better screen. I like it a lot.

    Could see if it'd be cheaper with one of those US shipping address services too. I've not tried them yet so not sure.

        I was lucky to get it while Amazon US still shipped directly to Australia. Cost me about $730 AUD.

    ASUS C302CA-DHM4 m3/4GB/64GB is now AUD $734.12 with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime, which is cheaper than buying from Amazon US (USD $553.30 with postage + tax).
